Personal Description – Dwayne L. Womer, P.E.
I am recently retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection where I was the Chief of the Division of Hazardous Waste Management with over 35 years of service within the Department. My area of specialty is State and Federal solid waste regulation but I am very knowledgeable in most environmental regulations since I held an after-hours rotating position for the Department’s Emergency Response Program for most of my career which involved working with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. I also held positions in the Department of Environmental Protection’s drinking water and water quality programs early in my career. I attended the Pennsylvania State University graduating in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and hold a Professional Engineer License (PE032954E) with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
I have a very supportive wife, Kim of 26 years and we have two children; a son, Aaron, age 22 attending medical school and a daughter, Ashlyn, age 18 attending college.
Business Objective
Business Objective
My objective for my consulting business is to help companies, individuals and local governments better understand and comply with environmental regulations and to reduce their overall costs in the process. In my years of service with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, I witnessed many opportunities where money and resources could be saved through better understanding of regulations and a review of operating practices. I believe you will find my rates and services extremely fair and reasonable. I will be open and honest about all charges and will make every effort to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
